Keith Jansa, Executive Director of CIO Strategy Council speaks to the launch of a made in Canada AI Ethics Assurance Program in collaboration with KPMG in Canada. The new program provides independent assurance reporting on whether an organization’s controls meet the National Standard of Canada, CAN/CIOSC 101:2019, Ethical Design and Use of Automated Systems. The purpose of the program is provide another avenue for organizations to demonstrate their due diligence in the design and deployment of responsible AI systems. Mario Cantin, CEO and and Founder of Prodago shares how his compliance software tool aligns with this national standard. Prodago's tool provides a governance framework for organization to ensure they have appropriate controls and processes to test and measure their compliance to this standard and their own risk appetite framework. |
