Meet Kanish Raajkumar, Founder and CEO from Sonero.AI
Tell us a little about your organization and why you got into this space
We are an AI start-up building the smartest solution out there to make meetings much more efficient and productive. We are currently in market with a product that transcribes online meetings into intelligent summaries covering key insights such as action items, talking points, conversation highlights, recaps of important topics and so much more to help drive immediate change and action. The problem with meetings is well-known. Even though there are other productivity tools in the market, most meetings are still inefficient and ineffective. Lack of follow-ups and poor meeting notes result in knowledge that is lost easily which only yield more ineffective meetings. It is an endless cycle of mundane meeting experiences. My passion is in building cutting-edge software products and so I wanted to use my technical expertise in solving this age-old problem in an innovative way for today's world.
Who are your clients and what types of challenges are they facing?
We partner with organizations of all sizes from small agencies to large financial institutions! Our clients use Sonero for their internal and external conversations to help them understand what happened and what needs to be done coming out of a meeting. The insights surfaced by Sonero has helped these organizations to easily drive action and promote accountability by using our product as a source of truth. They’ve been able to save significant time and money as a result of efficient meetings made possible by Sonero. With the recent pandemic, the addressable market is only expanding. There has been a global shift in the way we work and conduct meetings. By 2025, an estimated 70% of the workforce will be working remotely. Remote work is here to stay and so the market potential for a product such as Sonero is limitless.
What type of emerging technology do you think will have the greatest impact on your business/industry?
Advancements in AI will have a profound impact on our business. In fact, we are one of the companies that is actually pushing the realm of what we can do with AI. Our product is built with cutting-edge AI technology. We use sophisticated Natural Language Processing (NLP) to extract meaningful and actionable insights from unstructured conversations. This is an incredibly difficult task to do but we’ve succeeded in solving that problem and our models are only going to improve further. Besides NLP, we also use innovative technologies such as speech-to-text, speaker diarization and speaker identification. We've also built custom facial recognition models that we use in our engine to provide further insights and analytics.
