Who are your clients and what types of challenges are they facing?
Our clients are from a broad range of sectors and industries. From the traditional “IT Cybersecurity perspective”, these include Financial Institutions, Telcos and Government. The challenges these organizations face include areas such as Cloud Security / CASB as well as enabling security around Payment Card solutions i.e. PCI DSS. Another major focus area for such customers is secure software development as Security By Design is a critical focus area for any new software development.
We also work with emerging areas of Mobility cybersecurity such as Connected & Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs), SmartCities, Aerospace, eVTOLs and Rail. The cyber challenges here are unknown as the whole Mobility space is transforming and this new dynamic environment provides space for malicious actors to severely impact its smooth functioning.
Finally, CyberStrategiez works with incubators and accelerators to foster the growth of cyber startups and ensure their growth. This has done through enabling training and mentoring programs to foster this growth.
What type of emerging technology do you think will have the greatest impact on your business/industry?
The connected world and the Work-from-home environment are transforming how we use technology. New technologies such as Autonomous Vehicles, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and SmartCities are all having a profound impact on our lives and have further heightened the need for cybersecurity. The Covid19 pandemic has shown that only resilient organizations that have Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans in place can thrive, and indeed survive in this brave new connected world.
