Meet Dr. Tom Corr, Founder and CEO

Picture
Tell us a little about your organization and why you got into this space?

AI Partnerships Corp. (AIP) was formed to create an Affiliate network of early-stage solutions providers in the Artificial Intelligence sector. The founders of AIP saw an opportunity to assist these companies and their enterprise customers, as AI is now being rapidly deployed due to the availability of much lower cost computer resources and software.  These lower cost resources lend themselves to the adoption of AI by all size of organizations. Specifically, we have created a world-wide organization of over 125 Affiliate companies who work together to provide solutions to end-users in various sectors including Fintech.

Who are your clients and what types of regulatory challenges are they facing?

Our Affiliate companies address the needs of many end-users ranging from large international banks to insurance companies who face a variety of regulatory challenges. The clients of the Affiliates include organizations such as Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of America, Manulife, Toronto Dominion Bank, Nationwide Insurance, and many others. A complete list of our Affiliates and the solutions that they provide in several sectors, is available by visiting our web site at - https://www.aipartnershipscorp.com/affiliate-network

The regulatory challenges that end-users are facing and are addressed by our Affiliates solutions, range from the detection and redaction of personally identifiable information, pre-trade regulatory compliance management, surveillance and compliance reporting, market abuse and manipulative practices detection, and post trade end of day compliance reporting.

Can you describe your underlying technology and what’s on your product roadmap for the next major planned release?

Our Affiliate companies, that address compliance issues in the fintech space, have their own suite of current offerings and their own product roadmap. We work with our Affiliates to identify upcoming compliance rules and regulations. Each of the Affiliates would be glad to share their individual product roadmaps with interested parties.

Last question, can you share with us why AI Partnerships Corp became a member of the Canadian RegTech Association? and do you have any suggestions on how we might enhance our support of RegTech companies?

One of our goals at AIP is to ensure that we can assist our Affiliate companies in identifying opportunities in the fintech space that target the compliance needs of current and potential fintech end-users. We find that the Canadian RegTech Association is an important and valuable resource for us to work with to better help us understand the complexities of compliance needs inherent within the fintech community. Anything that can be done to provide visibility into the future of compliance is of great interest to AIP, our Affiliates and their fintech clients.
